HEY, WHERE’S THE OLD SITE???
A major bug in our old software had spammers plugging us with advertising for everything under the sun, good and bad. In the attempt to upgrade it, it made a real mess. We were no longer able to update or communicate with you. So it went into the Internet grave yard on December 26th, 2009 forever. All the old stuff is here now, but we’ve reorganized things a bit differently.
Meanwhile, behind the scenes, Bob and I have been planning to revise and make better use of the resources we have at the Tii Register for several months. Frankly, we’re amazed – an ever growing audience of new and long time owners of these fine cars shows up here on our site. Many of whom have been lost for a few decades. It’s gratifying to re-connect with owners who are just now discovering the site.
New software: WordPress
We’re now running on WordPress which is a big force on the internet in terms of blogging. By migrating to WordPress technology, we will be able to deal with a glitch here or there. More importantly however, it is a very expandable software solution. We know we’ll be able to better communicate with our web audience now, and what we have planned for the future.

- Site Archives - viewable by clicking the DIRECTORY link at the top of any page.
- Improved Site search – on the right side of every page. Try typing “kugel” and see what happens..
- Forums – Discussion forums at “FORUMS” link on top page
- Feedback - our new CONTACT US link
- We have plans for a new interactive area where you can blog about your cars in coming weeks ahead.

We know we’re a bit short of pictures here, and that is something we’re going to address immediately after re-launching. But we have some new content coming very soon, which will be stuff nobody’s seen in many years. It’s become our calling to offer a very rich set of content not found elsewhere on the web about our legendary BMW 2002tii automobiles.
